Grapes Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Franca.
Aroma Bright garnet in colou r. On the nose a combination of very ripe with oaky character. Elegant, with, concentrated fruit, well~fruit structured tannms anda long, complex finish.
Soil Type Sandy
Exposure and Slope The vineyard is planted on flat land in a valley that runs from east to west, and is thus exposed to the sun practically ali day long.
Situation Slightly above sea level.
Temperature Mild, thanks to its proximity to the ocean, with gentle winds,ideal for producing grapes with good colour, aroma and flavour.
Winemaking The grapes, ali from ou r v1neyard, were picked by hand into 20kg plastic boxes, the grape varieties kept separate. The wine was fermented exclustvely 1n small open tanks at controlled temperature. Handled minimally, it was aged in Allier oak barreis and then for a further time in bottle.
